According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), the global primary aluminum production amounted to 5.693 million tons, growing by 11.23% compared to the previous month but dropping by 1.55% from the same month a year earlier.
In March, China’s primary aluminum production was estimated at 3.29 million tons, said the IAI.
