According to the statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), the global average daily output of primary aluminum (excluding China) was 71,500 tons in December 2017, up from 71,000 tons in November.
In December, the global output of primary aluminum (excluding China) was around 2.22 million tons, rising from 2.1 million tons in November.
As for China, its average daily output of primary aluminum hiked to 87,500 tons in December, up from 78,300 tons in the previous month. Chinese total aluminum output in December was around 2.7 million tons, up from 2.35 million tons in November.
