According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), the estimated daily average production of global metallurgical alumina was approximately 342,000 tons in November, sliding by 0.2% compared to the same month a year ago.
It was the first year-on-year drop since May because China, the largest metallurgical alumina producer, reduced its production by 5.6%.
