According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global alumina production, including metallurgical and chemical grades, totaled 11.601 million tons in October, rising by 3.71% compared to the previous month and also hiking by 1.01% from the same month a year ago.
In the first ten months of this year, global alumina production reached 115.5 million tons, up by 4.97% year on year.
In October alone, the global average daily alumina production was 374,200 tons, an increase of 0.35% from the previous month.
