According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global alumina production totaled around 10.57 million tons in February, increasing by 1.41% compared to the same month a year ago, while dropping by nearly 10% from the previous month.
In the first two months this year, global alumina production amounted to approximately 22.32 million tons, hiking by 2.54% year on year.
Among them, China's estimated output of alumina was around 5.65 million tons in February, compared to the revised 6.26 million tons in January.
