Driven by the performance support of Novelis and Aleris, Hindalco Industries Ltd., a leading aluminum and copper company in India, posted a strong profit growth in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2021, and its local business operation in India was also supported by the increased price of commodities in the international market.
Hindalco's aluminum sales volume was expected to reach 325,000 tons in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2021, compared to 315,000 tons in the previous quarter and 314,000 tons in the same period a year ago.
