Trump, the first shot at the US Asia trade war in 2018, the next target might be the import of aluminum.

The newest report from Goldman Sachs believed that the policy focus of the trump government in 2018 will focus on trade issues and that the possibility of tariffs on aluminum products was higher.

In fact, the American dissatisfaction with Chinese aluminum products began in the Obama period. Before Obama left office in January 2017, the US formally complained to the WTO that the Chinese government provided subsidies to the original aluminum producers.

According to Goldman Sachs, US. raw aluminum production fell by 60%, and import dependency rose from 11% to 52% from 2012 to 2016. China was a big exporter of aluminum.
