According to the report, since China might limit capacity in winter season, Goldman Sachs said that will be the support for the market price. Therefore, it decided to raise the estimated aluminum price for the coming 3 years.

The average aluminum price for 2018~2020 will be US$2,000/ton, US$1,950/ton and US$1,900/ton, respectively. The previous estimated prices were US$1,950/ton, US$1,800/ton and US$1,800/ton.

However, it also said that the aluminum price might be affected by high stock level in China and the seasonal weak demand.
