According to statistics, in the first half of this year, the global aluminum output totaled around 31.6 million tons.

Among them, the output from China was around 17.86 million tons, that from North America was around 1.91 million tons; that from Asia was around 2.19 million tons; that from Western Europe, Eastern and Central Europe amounted to approximately 3.78 million tons; that from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries was around 2.69 million tons; that from South America was 520,000 tons roughly; that from Africa was 820,000 tons roughly; that from Oceania was 950,000 tons roughly.

In addition, during the same period, Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco) had the highest revenue, totaling around RMB 94.9 billion. United Company RUSAL (RUSAL) had the higher net profit attributable to owners of the parent company, with approximately RMB 3.99 billion.
