According to the report, global bauxite output increased a lot in 2019, mainly caused by the expansion of mining projects and newly funded projects, such as the first bauxite project established by the United Arab Emirates Global Aluminum Industry (EGA)in Guinea, and the new Amrun Bauxite project operated by Rio Tinto, and the newly launched project in the Bald mine by Australian Bauxite Limited, etc.
All of these projects had caused the oversupply of Bauxite, and market prices were quite low.
At the same time, Chinese domestic demand and consumption of bauxite decreased continuously, and the bauxite prices have been falling throughout the year.
