According to a report from SkyQuest Technology Consulting, the global aluminum foil packaging market had a value of US$34.23 billion in 2021, and it was expected to rise to US$44.29 billion by 2028, stably increasing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.2% during the period from 2022 to 2028.
Due to the growing awareness of health and hygiene issues, the demand for food products has been increasing. Besides, eco-friendly products are used more widely, so the demand for aluminum foil packaging is rising.
The report said that the beverage industry will account for the largest part of the demand for aluminum packaging, with a share of 47% of the total global demand for aluminum packaging by 2028.
