According to statistics, the global alumina production totaled around 11.6 million tons in April, sliding by 2.63% compared to the previous month while growing by 6.9% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the production from China accounted for roughly 6.18 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 3.22% and a year-on-year increase of 10.23%.
In the first four months of this year, the global alumina production amounted to approximately 45.86 million tons, hiking by 5.12% year on year.
