According to GFG Alliance Executive Chairman, Sanjeev Gupta, said that its aluminum business unit, Alvance, is seeking acquisitions of green energy, including primary aluminum, bauxite, alumina, and other value-added products, in order to achieve its target of carbon neutrality by 2030 and build a vertically integrated group.
In addition, Alvance planned to raise its annual production capacity of primary aluminum to 1 million tons from the current 332,000 tons within three years.
