It was reported that Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and Glencore have indicated to the Bosnian government that they wanted to cooperate strategically with Aluminij Mostar, but Glencore has withdrawn from the negotiations recently.
EGA said it will implement a five-year plan for the smelter that will restore the plant's solvency and double aluminum production.
However, if Aluminij Mostar still couldn't find a strategic partner, the factory could only face bankruptcy issues.
