Two former Rusal executives, Brian Hesse and Andrey Donets, will purchase the unit of Rusal in the US, Rusal America, and planned to rename the acquired company to PerenniAL. All Rusal America’s contracts will be transferred to the new company.
The new company will continue to sell Rusal’s metal, and the supply of aluminum from other suppliers, including primary and secondary products such as billet, foundry, and slab, will be continued as well.
PerenniAL’s headquarter will remain in Rye Brook, New York, and Rusal America’s employees will be transferred to PerenniAL. The change will take effect on April 29.
