According to the announcement from the Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), its new refinery at Al Taweelah had already produced over 1 million aluminas since this April.
It was expected to reach full capacity in the first half of next year.
Once the achievement had been reached, the total capacity would come to around 2 million tons, which would able to meet 40% of the total demand of EGA.
