According to reports, Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) earlier signed an import contract with Vinacomin, a Vietnam-based mining company, to import 300,000 tons of alumina per year for a period of 3 years.
It was understood that the import agreement was the first long-term contract for Vietnam to export alumina to the United Arab Emirates.
