On December 9, 2021, Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) signs a three-year agreement to supply bauxite ore from Guinea to China’s Bosai Minerals Group.
According to the agreement, EGA will supply several million tons of bauxite ore every year to Bosai Minerals Group, and the first shipment was expected in January 2022.
Under a short-term agreement, EGA has supplied more than 1 million tons of bauxite to Bosai Minerals Group this year.
Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC), a subsidiary of EGA, was put into production in 2019. The company has become the world’s second-largest bauxite supplier to third-party customers last year.
