On March 31, Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to deepen technology cooperation and further use the technology developed by EGA and know-how in Alba’s campus.
According to the MoU, the two aluminum companies will seek their cooperation to increase the production capacity at Alba’s Potline 6 to make the capacity exceed its name-plate design capacity, as well as explore the use of EGA's technology in Alba's future expansion.
