The Department of Internal Market Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) published its final results of an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on aluminum foil originating from China, finding the subject good was dumped in the market and caused the damage. Therefore, the Department suggested imposing AD duties for five years.

The size for subject aluminum foils is thickness from 0.0046mm to 0.2mm, width from 20mm to 1616mm, and length over 150 meters.

The HS codes for the subject goods are 7607 11 1109, 7607 11 1909, 7607 11 9000, 7607 19 1000, 7607 19 9009, 7607 20 1000, and 7607 20 9000.

The AD duties for Chinese suppliers are 19.52% for Xiamen Xiashun Aluminium Foil Co., Ltd., 17.16% for Jiangsu Dingsheng New Materials Joint-Stock Co., Ltd., and 20.24% for all other Chinese producers.

The EEC launched the AD investigation into China’s aluminum foil on March 28, 2024.
