It was reported that CRU Group, a UK-based commodity market analyst, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) with a goal to raise the transparency of aluminum sustainability data.
With CRU’s understanding from mines to smelters progression in the aluminum industry and the ASI’s certification standards of performance and chain of custody, the cooperation of the two associations was expected to improve the transparency of all stakeholders, as well as provide them with reliable and trustworthy information for the aluminum industry.
