The Colombian aluminum bar and profile import market has grown rapidly from 2017 to 2019. The total imports during the three months were around 14,700 tons, with a purchase expenditure of US$47.35 million.
The import volume of aluminum bar and profile was expected to hike by 28.65% to 9,164 tons this year, with a purchase expenditure rising to US$26.46 million.
Besides, the cumulative import volume from 2017 to 2020 was predicted to reach approximately 23,800 tons and the purchase expenditure will be roughly US$73.8 million.
Colombian sources of aluminum bar and profile were mainly from Belgium, Chile, China, Germany, India, the US, and so forth.
