According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS), the output of 10 major non-ferrous metals in China totaled around 4.97 million tons in September, up by 5.1% compared to the same month a year ago; that in the first 9 months of this year amounted to approximately 43.5 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%.
Besides, the statistics also showed that Chinese output of primary aluminum were around 2.9 million tons in September, down by 1.6% year on year; that from January to September reached 26.4 million tons, a year-on-year hike of 1.1%.
