According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS), the output of 10 major non-ferrous metals in China totaled around 5.3 million tons in December 2019, up by 4.7% compared to the same month a year ago; that in 2019 amounted to approximately 58.4 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%.
Besides, the statistics also showed that Chinese output of primary aluminum was around 3.04 million tons in December, down by 0.7% year on year; that in the whole year 2019 reached 35.04 million tons roughly, a year-on-year decrease of 0.9%.
