According to statistics released by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China imported a total of around 8,090 tons of primary aluminum in December 2019, up by 47.77% compared to the previous month, while dropping by 72.89% from the same month in 2018.
Among them, the imports from Australia accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 3,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 83.36%.
