According to statistics, China exported a total of around 218,000 tons of aluminum sheet and strip in August, dropping by 3.85% compared to the previous month, also falling by 14.78% from the same month a year ago. The exports of aluminum foil products were around 98,000 tons in August, down by 13.32% and 9.85% from last month and last August respectively.
In the first 8 months of this year, the exports of aluminum sheet and strip amounted to approximately 1.81 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.52%; that of aluminum foil products were 882,000 tons, up by 5.04% year on year.
