According to the statistics from the United States Geological Survey (USGS), China imported approximately 20,000 tons of aluminum scrap from the US in September, dropping by 26% from 27,000 tons in the previous month and nearly 24% from 26,000 tons in September last year.
In the first nine months of 2019, the total import volume of Chinese aluminum scrap from the US was roughly 300,000 tons, falling by 24% from the same period a year ago.
