It was reported that Chinese aluminum price rebounded in September due to production limited and higher cost. At the beginning of August, the notification of production limited issued by China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has stimulated an increase in Chinese aluminum prices.

During the mid-to-late August, Turkey brought to counter currency devaluation that panicked and hammered global market, which resulted in aluminum price collapsed to a new point.

However, not only decreasing inventory issue provoked the spot price recently, also the depreciation of RMB could also push more Chinese aluminum exports. During January to July 2018, Chinese aluminum product exports totaled about 3.2 million tons roughly and grew by 13.6% compared to the same period of previous year.
