The US' sanctions on Rusal have already affected considerably the aluminum supply all over the global market. As a result, Chinese export volume of aluminum has arrived at its highest level in the recent 3 years.
In August, Chinese aluminum exportation towards the global market grew sharply. According to data published by China Customs, in August there were totally 517,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products been exported from China to other countries, which were close to the 520,000-ton record made in July, which was the highest level during the past 3 years.
