According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS), the production of alumina in China totaled around 5.83 million tons in September, sliding by 3.4% compared to the same month a year ago; that of aluminum alloy was around 830,000 tons, up by 2.7% from the same month a year earlier; that of aluminum products was 4.42 million tons roughly, rising by 1.1% compared to September in 2018.
In the first 9 months of this year, the output of alumina had a year-on-year increase of 4.7%; that of aluminum alloy had a year-on-year decrease of 1.2%; that of aluminum products had a year-on-year hike of 4.8%.
