According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, China’s exports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products amounted to around 4.9 million tons in the first nine months of this year, growing by 15.5% compared to the same period a year earlier.
In September alone, exports of these products reached 562,000 tons, a month-on-month drop of 5.4% and a year-on-year increase of 19.3%.
In 2023, China exported a total of roughly 5.68 million tons of the above-mentioned aluminum products, down by 14% year on year.
