According to statistics as of September 30, China’s stock of primary aluminum totaled 823,000 tons, decreasing by 4,000 tons compared to the stock on September 27.
Among them, the stock in Wuxi was 256,000 tons, that in Foshan was 241,000 tons, that in Gongyi was 59,000 tons, that in Shanghai was 105,000 tons, that in Hangzhou was 56,000 tons, and that in Tianjin was 53,000 tons.
The stock decline was mainly in Foshan and Gongyi, especially Gongyi had a relatively obvious decrease, as the coming long-term holiday weakened downstream buyers’ willingness to purchase.
Meanwhile, the stock in Foshan slightly dropped, caused by power restrictions and sluggish consumption in the local market.
