According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, China imported around 82,300 tons of primary aluminum in December 2021, dropping by 64.13% compared to the previous month and also sliding by nearly 37% from the same month a year earlier.
Among them, India maintained the largest import source of China’s primary aluminum, accounting for approximately 38,400 tons, a month-on-month decline of 73.9% and a year-on-year decrease of 4.1%.
