According to report, CITIC (China International Trust Investment Corporation) Aluminio Angola’s aluminium profile factory commissioned on Tuesday in Viana.
This was the joint venture between CITIC Construction and CITIC Bohai Aluminum Industries Holding Company with an investment of US$40 million. The annual capacity was 10,000 tons of aluminum profiles.
The president of the Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (Aipex), said the project would supply significantly to the Angolan market by cutting imports of aluminum and similar profiles as well as reduce the pressure of the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
This investment project was approved on April 19, 2019, by the Technical Unit for Private Investment.
