According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, China imported a total of roughly 11.8 million tons of bauxite in November this year, growing by 31.3% from the previous month and by 53.6% compared to the year-ago level.
In the first 11 months of this year, China’s bauxite imports amounted to 115.4 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 17%.
