According to the report, Guangxi and Yunnan are both important producers of alumina and electrolytic aluminum in China and will become China's aluminum industry clusters in the future.
Guangxi and Yunnan have weak economic foundations and talents. However, the region has nearly 20 million tons of alumina and 12 million tons of electrolytic aluminum resources. Realizing the extension of the aluminum industry chain and driving the rapid development of related industries will be the direction of future development.
Besides, China Aluminum Association (CAA) hoped to give full play to its resource advantages so as to plan the overall layout of the aluminum industry.
