According to statistics, China's aluminum foil exports amounted to approximately 127,000 tons in March this year, up by 34% compared to the previous month and also rising by 9% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the top four export destinations were Thailand, India, Indonesia, and the UAE, accounting for a proportion of 8.92%, 7.34%, 6.51%, and 6.30% of the total export volume.
East China is the major aluminum foil production and export center in China. However, due to the severe COVID-19 epidemic in some regions, transportation was obstructed, which forces some aluminum foil companies to reduce or stop production. Therefore, China’s export volume of aluminum foil was expected to drop significantly in April, and demand from overseas markets will be a main driver of the exports in the future.
