According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China imported a total of around 407,000 tons of alumina in December 2019, up by 5445.15% compared to the same month a year ago and hiking by 96.77% month on month.
Among them, the imports from Australia accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 288,700 tons, a month-on-month increase of 98.61%.
