Aluminum Corporation of China or Chinalco has announced plans to invest 2 million tons of alumina project in Fangchenggang, Guangxi, China.
The total investment of the project is about RMB5.805 billion, of which the project capital is about RMB1.742 billion. The project is under construction and operation by Guangxi Huasheng.
The company will increase capital of RMB838 million to Guangxi Huasheng. After the capital increase is completed, the company's total investment amount for Guangxi Huasheng is RMB889 million, and the shareholding ratio is still 51%.
