On May 17th, Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco) successfully developed an alumina replacement product, which achieved a quality upgrade and could even replace imports. After the successful development of the alumina quality upgraded products, the direct economic benefits will come to nearly RMB 100 million.
According to preliminary calculations, the benefits of the successful development of the alumina quality upgrading products were only from the existing supply and sales scale of Chalco Shandong and Baotou Aluminum, and the cost reduction and efficiency increase reached RMB 30 million.
After all the production capacity has been achieved, it will increase the efficiency of Chalco by nearly RMB 100 million, and the value-added income brought by the end products will be even greater.
