According to a report released by Century Aluminum, a US-based holding company producing primary aluminum and operating aluminum reduction facilities, the shipment of primary aluminum reached around 410 kilotons in the first half of this year, increasing by 11.5% compared to the same period a year ago.
Among them, the shipment in the first quarter had a quarter-on-quarter increase of 4% due to the restart of the Hawesville smelter. However, the shipment dropped by 1% in the second quarter due to the restriction by the delivery time.
