According to the latest official statistics, the output of aluminum in Brazil totaled around 48,000 tons in April this year, dropping by 3.6% compared to the previous month, also plummeting by 19.7% from the same month a year ago, which has dropped for 17 consecutive months.
Brazilian aluminum output has been sliding since it reached 660,000 tons in December 2017.
