Ball Corporation, a provider of metal packaging in the US, expected that its aluminum packaging business in India will increase remarkably as aluminum is sustainable, and the new application of aluminum such as sparkling water, wine, and hard spirit are turning to aluminum can packaging.
Ball has made several major investments in India, including the establishment of two beverage packaging manufacturing plants in Taloja near Mumbai in 2006, the establishment of a beverage can manufacturing plant in Sri City. Andhra Pradesh, and ownership of an aerosol can plant in Sanand in Gujarat.
