Reportedly, Azerbaijan’s Ganja aluminum plant will be restored to commission with a dozen of facilities with modern technologies, nearly 9 years after it was idled in 2009.
The restoring project will be carried out by Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation, and the target capacity was in producing primary and final aluminum products for both inside and export market.
Ganja is Azerbaijan’s second largest city. The aluminum plant in Ganja had 2,265 employees before the discontinuity for finance issue in the global economic crisis in 2009.
