The Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI), a global organization dedicated to the development of standards and certification for the aluminum industry, recently passed the certification of Swiss packaging company Amcor plc's plants in Switzerland, Germany and France.

ASI was committed to connecting individuals in the aluminum industry to improve environmental protection, production standards and material storage.

Fiona Solomon, ASI's Chief Executive Officer, congratulated Amcor, saying that Amcor's equipment had already met the standards and that Amcor had always been more disciplined. ASI's certification was authoritative and valid for three years.

For response, Dr. Isabelle Jenny, Manager Sustainability at Amcor Flexibles, believed that ASI certification showed that Amcor's materials were environmentally friendly and were willing to take this opportunity to get support from many suppliers.
