It was reported that stockbroker Argonaut said the news of Indonesian export ban on bauxite boosted the aluminum prices in the short term although the alumina output declined and bauxite prices were weak in the recent days.
Argonaut said that Indonesian restrictions on bauxite exports will lead Australia to grab more market shares in China, and Malaysia will also increase its exports gradually.
