On February 26th, the Argentine Ministry of Production and Development resolved to make a final anti-dumping ruling on aluminum discs originating in China. From now on, an anti-dumping duty of 80.14% will be levied on the products involved at the FOB price for a period of five years.

The products in question specifically refer to non-alloy or alloy aluminum discs that meet the requirements of Article 681 of the National IRAM Standard of Argentina. The customs codes are 7601.91.00 and 7606.92.00.

Argentina decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on China-origin aluminum discs on February 25th last year and then made a preliminary ruling on September 16th to impose a temporary anti-dumping tax of 70% on the products involved in the form of margin at FOB price.
