It was reported that on September 16th, 2019, the Ministry of Production and Labor of Argentina announced anti-dumping preliminary ruling on aluminum circles originating in China and will impose a temporary anti-dumping duty of 70% of Free on Board (FOB) value in the form of deposit.
The products involved were specifically 3xxx series non-alloy and alloy aluminum discs according to IRAM 681 standard, with the specification of a diameter greater than or equal to 60mm, less than or equal to 1000 mm, and a thickness greater than or equal to 0.3mm, less than or equal to 5mm.
The HS codes of the products involved were 7606.91.00 and 7606.92.00.
The resolution took effect from the date of publication, valid for six months.
