It was reported on May 7th, 2019 that the Ministry of Production and Labor of Argentina announced to initiate an anti-dumping investigation against the aluminum tubes originating in Brazil and China.
The product was 3XXX series and 6XXX series unformed unalloyed or alloyed aluminum tubes, including aluminum tube in coil, with an outer diameter of 130 mm or less as per Argentina IRAM National Standard 681.
The products involved were under HS codes 7608.10.00 and 7608.20.90. The dumping investigation period was from May 2018 to April 2019, and the damage investigation period was from January 2016 to April 2019.
