Archer Exploration Limited, a mineral exploration company in Australia, has announced its exploration of Eyre Peninsula High Purity Alumina (EPHPA) Project in South Australia, with a maiden kaolin exploration target reaching 55 million to 130 million tons at a grade 33% to 36%.
According to Archer, high-purity alumina was mainly used to produce light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and lithium-ion batteries (LIB), and it was also an essential material for synthetic sapphire production, which was widely used in some technology products, such as semiconductors, scratch-resistant glass, smartphone components and biomedical devices, showing a good prospect currently.
